Murphy Investigations & Protective Services LLC is also known and does business as MI ProS.
The company was founded by Dennis & Diana Murphy. Dennis Murphy is the current president and chief investigator of the company. Diana Murphy is the company CFO and legal assistant to Dennis Murphy.
During Dennis Murphy's years in college, he was employed as a seasonal Park Ranger on a fire and mountain rescue crew in Glacier National Park, MT. While in that position he and his fellow crew members assisted the FBI and the US Secret Service with route security and transporting visiting dignitaries during President George H.W. Bush’s vacation to the park.

Murphy Investigations & Protective Services LLC (MI ProS) was founded in December of 2008. Dennis Murphy is the current president and chief investigator of the company. Diana Murphy is the company CFO, an investigator and legal assistant to Dennis Murphy.
During Dennis Murphy's years in college, he was employed as a seasonal park ranger on a fire and mountain rescue crew in Glacier National Park, MT. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree from South Dakota State University, he was employed as a conservation officer in Muscatine, IA, with the County Conservation Board. He furthered his education and obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Law Enforcement along with completing law enforcement skills training in Alexandria, MN.
In 1988, he acquired his full-time peace officer license in the State of Minnesota and started his career in law enforcement. He combined his full-time work in law enforcement with positions ranging from patrolman to Chief of Police. While working as a law enforcement officer he worked as a part-time private investigator. In 1997, Investigator Murphy decided to leave his work in law enforcement and pursue a career as a full-time private investigator. While expanding his areas of expertise, Dennis acquired over 350 hours of accredited continuing education training while maintaining his law enforcement license in the State of Minnesota.
In the summer of 2008, Dennis Murphy was retained along with 49 other select police officers and specialists to provide executive protection and security escort for visiting dignitaries, U.S. Senators, and White House staff during the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN.
His investigative work over the past 30 years exceeds 40,000 documented hours in a wide spectrum of investigations topics.
